Bethan Lloyd, 2012 | British Film Institute (United Kingdom)
Let Yourself Go by Bethan Lloyd (1990, London) is a personal journey, embarked upon by Bethan herself, to investigate the use of dance in religious, spiritual and secular culture. Starting with the question of 'Is there more to dance than just it's recreational usage?', Bethan journeys from Hedonism to introspection through the use of dance. In the process she discovers things about heself which had remained hidden and obscured for years.
